What is Botox?

Botulinum Toxin (Type A) is cosmetic injection that blocks nerve signals, which cause contraction of muscles. Used for various medical reasons like treatment of migraines, reduction of perspiration and spasticity of muscles; the most known use of Botulinum Toxin is cosmetic in the form of BOTOX.

What is the recovery from Botox?

Rarely if bruising occurs, it resolves within a week or two.

What will be my results?

Depending on a few factors like skin condition and age, the effects from your Botox may last from three to six months. A follow-up appointment will be required for additional treatment or touch up since your results are not permanent.

After graduating from Oregon Health and Science University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing, Robin established her nursing career as a labor and delivery nurse in Southern Oregon. After a re-location to Portland, Robin decided to focus on Postpartum nursing at St.Vincent; shifting to full-time aesthetic injectables.

A very rewarding part of her career was caring for young mothers and newborns. When Robin was introduced to aesthetic medicine, however, she found it to be similarly rewarding. Assisting others in feeling better about their appearance and improving their self-esteem has allowed Robin to build a solid clientele.

When Robin is not assisting others in looking and feeling their best, she enjoys spending quality time with her large, blended family. She and her husband, Ryan, have three sons and three daughters, Brady Bunch style. Robin thoroughly enjoys attending her children’s numerous school and sporting events. In her free time, Robin also enjoys cooking, gardening, camping, fishing, and spending time on the Oregon Coast.
